STT GDC TH company to watch

Bangkok, 7 June 2021 – ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (Thailand) or “STT GDC Thailand”, a leading data centre service provider, has been named a "Company to Watch" in the Thailand Data Centre Colocation Services Market Report 2021 by Frost & Sullivan, a leading business consulting firm.

In the report, Frost & Sullivan has called out STT GDC Thailand for its strengths in three areas. Firstly, its carrier-neutrality and location in Hua Mak, one of Bangkok’s business districts, offering connectivity options for enterprises in Bangkok and ensuring low latency for the end consumers served by cloud service providers as well as content and media players who are seeking a secure yet reliable digital infrastructure.

Secondly, STT GDC Thailand’s data centre design and operational practices are aligned to best practices validated by internationally recognised certifications such as LEED Gold, TIA 942 Rated-3, Uptime Institute Tier III in Design and Construction, ISO 27001, and Threat Vulnerability Risk Assessment (TVRA).  These certifications and the company’s experience in operating data centres across some of Asia’s largest and more complex markets make it a strong partner for growth and expansion.

Thirdly, STT GDC Thailand provides a wide range of colocation service offerings that range from rack colocation services to fully customised single-tenant build-to-suit solutions, with the scalability and flexibility to suit the diverse business requirements of both retail and hyperscale customers.

"Thailand is witnessing a growing need for best-in-class digital infrastructure. Data centre services will play a pivotal role in enabling the digital transformation and providing the underlying infrastructure for delivering digital services. ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (Thailand)’s value proposition of strategic location and scalability align well with the transforming needs of target customer segments. The focus on industry best practice certifications further strengthens STT GDC (Thailand)'s value proposition, making the service provider a 'Company to Watch' in the Data Center colocation services ecosystem," said Nishchal Khorana, Senior Director, Frost and Sullivan.
