A message on COVID-19 from our Group CEO

First and foremost, I hope everyone is keeping safe and healthy during these unprecedented times. As the COVID-19 pandemic is still developing and intensifying in many countries across the globe, many of us are affected in different ways during these challenging times. 

Digital infrastructure has never been more mission critical than it is today as the digital economy continues to grow exponentially, especially in the current climate of increased telecommuting and content consumption that are driving a tremendous demand on our customers’ services globally. At ST Telemedia Global Data Centres, we understand that we hold an important responsibility to enable it to keep moving and support the various platforms and services that are connecting us all together in this pandemic. With that said, we want to reassure our customers and partners of our commitment in providing the same level of service that you have been experiencing across our regions, and ensuring that our data centres continue to operate at the highest availability. 

The health and safety of all who work and interact at our facilities in the geographies we operate in are of paramount importance to us. We have been closely monitoring the pandemic outbreak and are focused on enhancing the precautionary measures to ensure robust business continuity and minimise risks of any operational impact. A broad range of protocols implemented include daily health monitoring, safe distancing practices, split team work arrangements, increased cleaning and disinfection at our offices and facilities, and these are calibrated to the developing situations in each market. We are also continually modifying our work processes according to guidelines set by global and local authorities to ensure uninterrupted operations throughout while safeguarding the health of our customers, partners and employees. 

As the battle against COVID-19 is expected to be prolonged for many months to come, we are acutely aware that we will need to sustain these efforts for an extended period.
