SS 564 Part-1 : 2020 outlines requirements for managing a sustainable data centre, emphasising the establishment and maintenance of an energy and environmental management system for continual improvement in energy and water performance. It encompasses best practices in sustainable data centre design, electrical and mechanical systems management, and includes indicators for measuring sustainability achievements in both in-house and outsourced services.

The BCA-IMDA Green Mark for Data Centres is a dedicated green rating system for data centres in Singapore. The TIA-942 Certification Program enables data centres to be reviewed and certified for conformity to the requirements of the globally-recognised ANSI/TIA-942 standard, providing greater assurance to customers and stakeholders.
