Manager (Service Assurance), Group Data Centre Operations

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As Manager (Service Assurance), Group Data Centre Operations (GDCO), you will be part of the Service Assurance team with responsibilities across data centres in Southeast and Northeast Asia. In this role, you will drive the performance of key operational processes to achieve continuous improvement and operational excellence, manage audit programmes to ensure compliance with required certifications including security (ISMS), processes (SMS & BCMS), and energy and environmental standards, and support the deployment and adoption of IT tools and systems to enable process automation and performance reporting.

 

  • Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits for ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 22301, and ISO 50001 standards, prepare audit reports and follow up with auditees to close findings.
  • Plan, schedule, and complete external audits by engaging certification bodies to achieve and maintain ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, ISO 22301, and ISO 50001 certifications.
  • Monitor and review operations processes, including incident and change management to drive continuous improvement of key KPIs.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of physical security controls and operations to maintain and enhance overall sites security posture.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of ISMS, BCMS, and SMS management systems.
  • Contribute to the documentation of key operational policies, processes, manuals, SOPs to drive alignment and consistency across countries.
  • Support the automation of operational processes and performance reporting using appropriate IT tools and systems.
  • Provide training and coaching to the data centre operations teams and auditees on audit requirements and processes.
  • Support all service assurance-related activities, initiatives, and projects.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the Management 
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in IT, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a Data Centre environment.
  • Experience in data centre or critical environment operations (e.g., M&E facilities, security operations) and ITSM processes (incident, change, problem management).
  • ISO Lead/Internal Auditor certification (ISO 27001, 22301, 20000-1, or 50001) with hands-on audit and certification experience.
  • Familiarity with ISMS, BCMS, SMS frameworks and ITSM/operations support tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-cultural communication skills; bilingual in English and an additional Southeast Asian language is preferred.
  • Self-driven with strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
