The Next Chapter in STT GDC India’s Multi-Megawatt Expansion Plan – STT Noida DC 1

 

As part of the company’s multi-megawatt capacity expansion plan across India, spanning major cities in the country, STT GDC India, the country’s largest data centre service provider, has announced the construction for phase one of a new greenfield data centre facility – STTNoida DC1, in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. 

 

The STT Noida DC 1 facility, with a proposed expenditure of up to INR 1100 crore for the total project, will provide up to 18 MW of critical IT load and is anticipated to be ready for service by 2022.

 

STT Noida DC 1, being the latest addition to STT GDC India’s increasing footprint in the Delhi NCR Region, is intended to provide 18MW of IT load capacity, which is scalable up to 35 MW, with a total area of 3,60,000 sq.ft. data centre size. Setting new precedents and industry benchmarks, STT Noida DC 1 is being built from the ground up and is designed to fulfil our clients’ ever-evolving, high-density computing needs.

Including design features of high-efficiency, redundant air-cooled chillers with dual header piping input and redundant pumps, and energy-efficient uninterruptible power supply, STT Noida DC1 is a sustainable data centre facility using up to 50% of green power.
