This recognition underscores the facility's commitment to providing world-class infrastructure and ensuring the highest standards of reliability and performance for its customers. The certification was conducted through a thorough assessment of STT Jakarta 1’s design documentation by the Uptime Institute, the globally recognised benchmark in data centre design, construction and operations. The Tier III Certification of Design Documents signifies that STT Jakarta 1’s design has met the Institute's stringent evaluation for fulfilling Tier III Concurrently Maintainable criteria and ensuring uninterrupted data centre operations. With the aim of supporting Indonesia’s burgeoning digital economy, STT Jakarta 1 has a gross floor area of 18,000 square metres, supporting up to 19.5 MW of critical IT capacity. This certification highlights STT GDC Indonesia's commitment to offering critical digital infrastructure of the highest global quality. In addition, the certification to Uptime Institute’s Tier III Certification of Design Documents provides important confidence for government and enterprise users, powering continuous access to their mission-critical applications and data. Designed with energy efficiency in mind, STT Jakarta 1’s data centre operations will be carbon-neutral from day one. Built to comply with the most stringent global business continuity and security standards, STT Jakarta 1 is also TIA-942 Rated-3 and LEED Gold certified. STT Jakarta 1 is the first building in the STT Jakarta data centre campus to be developed and was officially launched in June 2023.
