Here are our board of directors
Mr Sio Tat Hiang is Chairman of the Board of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) in Singapore. He is also Chairman of the Board of STT GDC in India, Vice-Chairman of the Board of GDS Services, Board Director of U Mobile and Advisor to STT for certain of its portfolio companies.
Mr Sio was Executive Director of ST Telemedia (STT) where he successfully led the company's transition to a new digital future. Under his leadership, STT strengthened its ecosystem by expanding into emerging enterprise tech and re-entering the data centre sector with the formation of STT GDC. A key member of STT’s founding team, Mr Sio played a vital role in laying the company’s strong foundation for long-term growth.
Prior to STT, Mr Sio had served in various senior roles at Singapore Technologies, including corporate finance and investment management.
Mr Sio graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration with Honours from the former University of Singapore, and completed the Senior Management Programme at London Business School in the UK.
Mr Lim Ming Seong serves as Director on the Board of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). He is also Chairman of CSE Global and First Resources and sits on the Boards of ST Telemedia, StarHub and U Mobile.
Mr Lim was with Singapore Technologies from 1986 through 2002, where he left as Group Director. Mr Lim brings with him extensive management, accounting and technical expertise.
He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) with a major in Mechanical Engineering from University of Toronto, Canada, and a Diploma in Business Administration from the former University of Singapore. Mr Lim also participated in the Advanced Management Programmes conducted by INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
Mr Liu Chee Ming serves as Director on the Board of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). He is Managing Director of Platinum Holdings, which he founded in March 1996. He also serves on the Boards of Haitong Securities, OUE Hospitality REIT Management, and OUE Hospitality Trust Management. Mr Liu is also an Independent Supervisor of the Supervisory Committee of Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties.
Mr Liu has over 30 years of experience across the financial services sector and has an extensive network of contacts in the media industry. His financial and strategic expertise and experience of working with major corporations and businesses globally is an invaluable asset to the Board. He is a member of the Takeovers Appeal Committee and Deputy Chairman of the Takeovers and Mergers Panel of the Securities and Futures Commission in Hong Kong.
Mr Liu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the former University of Singapore.
Mr Lim Ah Doo serves as Director of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) and chairs STT GDC’s audit committee. Mr Lim also chairs the Boards of Olam International and Singapore Technologies Marine. He sits on the Boards and chairs the audit committees of STT GDC in India, and GDS Services. Mr Lim also sits on the Boards of ARA-CWT Trust Management (Cache), GP Industries, Sembcorp Marine, Singapore Technologies Engineering and U Mobile.
During his 18-year distinguished banking career in Morgan Grenfell, Mr Lim held several key positions including chairing Morgan Grenfell (Asia). He also chaired the Singapore Investment Banking Association in 1994. From 2003 to 2008, he was President and then Vice Chairman of the RGM group, a leading global resource-based group.
Mr Lim holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Honours) from Queen Mary College, University of London, and a MBA from Cranfield School of Management, UK.
Mr Stephen Geoffrey Miller serves as Director on the Board of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). He is also President & Chief Executive Officer of ST Telemedia and is a member of ST Telemedia’s Board of Directors.
Mr Miller joined ST Telemedia in 2005 and has held various senior positions including President & Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining the company, Mr Miller was ST Telemedia’s Financial Advisor on the combination of its data centre business with Equinix and Pihana Pacific, creating the world’s largest carrier-neutral data centre network
Mr Miller has more than 25 years of global investment, financial management, strategic planning and CMT industry experience. He spent over 14 years of his career in investment banking with Credit Suisse, primarily heading its telecommunications and media group throughout Asia and the Pacific.
Mr Miller holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, with First Class Honours in Economics and Finance, from the University of New South Wales, Australia.
Mr Steven Terrell (Terry) Clontz serves as Director on the Board of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). He is Senior Executive Vice President, International at ST Telemedia (STT) where he is responsible for stewarding the company’s global investments.
Mr Clontz is a well-regarded veteran in the telecommunications and media industry with over 40 years of industry experience. He has held a variety of senior executive positions including Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of StarHub, President and CEO of IPC Information Systems., based in New York, and President of BellSouth International (Asia-Pacific). As StarHub’s CEO from January 1999 to December 2009, Mr Clontz served on the company’s Board as non-executive Director from January 2010 till 15 July 2015 when he was appointed Chairman of the StarHub Board. During his 11 years at the helm of StarHub, Mr Clontz led the company in a number of major milestones including the transformation of StarHub from being Singapore’s third mobile player in 2000 to a fully-integrated “quad-play” service provider in 2009; merging StarHub with Singapore Cable Vision in 2002; bringing StarHub public in 2004 on the Main Board of the Singapore Exchange; and advancing StarHub’s market position to become Singapore’s second largest mobile operator in 2005, the same year that it became profitable. Mr Clontz is also a Director on the Board of Level 3 Communications and chairs its Strategic Planning Committee. Mr Clontz also sits on the Boards of Armor, Cloud9 Technologies, PSA International and Virgin Mobile Latin America.
Mr Clontz graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1992 with a Physics degree.
Chief Executive Officer & Director
Mr Bruno Lopez is Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). In this role, he is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, growth and development of the STT GDC group.
Mr Lopez joined ST Telemedia (STT) in June 2014 to head up STT GDC business at its inception. Under his stewardship, STT GDC today owns and operates more than 50 data centres across the world’s key business markets including Singapore, the UK, China and India through various platforms and has become one of the largest data centre companies headquartered in Asia.
An industry veteran in the telecommunications and data centre sectors with more than 25 years of experience, Mr Lopez was Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Keppel Data Centres where he was instrumental in leading the company’s growth and business expansion especially in Singapore in South East Asia especially Singapore, Australia and Europe. He was also responsible for setting up Securus Data Property Fund, an investment fund focused on data centre assets in the Asia–Pacific region, Europe and the Middle East, which was eventually merged with Keppel Data Centres’ assets as part of the company’s SGX REIT listing.
Mr Lopez holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honours from National University of Singapore and a Master’s degree from Rutgers University, USA.

Chief Executive Officer, STT GDC
Bruno Lopez is Chief Executive Officer and Board Director of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). In this role, he is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, growth and development of the STT GDC group.
Bruno joined ST Telemedia (STT) in June 2014 to head up STT GDC business at its inception. Under his stewardship, STT GDC today owns and operates more than 50 data centres across the world’s key business markets including Singapore, the UK, China and India through various platforms and has become one of the largest data centre companies headquartered in Asia.

Chief Operating Officer & Head of Investments, STT GDC
Jonathan King is Chief Operating Officer and Head of Investments of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). In this role, he is responsible for leading STT GDC group’s expansion into new regions, and managing the growth and performance of STT GDC’s existing group companies.
Jonathan has over 20 years of global investment experience in the data centre, finance, real estate and engineering industries. In the data centre space, he has executed over US$2.5bn of transactions since 2011. Prior to joining STT GDC, Jonathan was instrumental in the formation, and operation of Securus Data Property Fund (Securus) where he was co-Chief Executive Officer. Securus was an investment fund focused on data centre assets across the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and the Middle East. Prior to this, he was an Associate Director at Macquarie Bank focused on real estate investment banking.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Honours) from University of Sydney, Australia and a Graduate Diploma of Finance and Investment from Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA). He is also a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Chief Financial Officer, STT GDC
Nelson Lim is Chief Financial Officer of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC). He is responsible for the overall financial planning and management of the STT GDC group.
Prior to STT GDC, Nelson held various leadership roles in Dell at the country level (Singapore and USA), regional and global levels, where his last appointment was Finance Executive Director, Dell Global. During his 14 years with the company, Nelson oversaw financial controllership and investment strategy, as well as organisation restructuring and transformation. Prior to Dell, Nelson held financial and business leadership positions at Hewlett Packard and KPMG.
Nelson is an Accountancy graduate from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and a certified Chartered Accountant.
Chief Executive Officer, STT GDC India
Sumit is Chief Executive Officer of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC) in India. In his role, he is responsible for the company’s strategic direction, leadership and continued growth [in India].
Prior to his current role, Sumit was Chief Executive Officer of Tata Communications Data Centers (TCDC) and held various senior positions at TCDC’s parent Tata Communications, including head of solution sales for data centre services.
At the forefront of innovation in the regional data centre market for close to three decades, Sumit held leadership roles in organisations including Cisco, Microsoft and Brocade. Prior to Tata Communications, Sumit served as Director for Solutions Sales at Microsoft and was responsible for driving solutions sales for Microsoft’s Cloud business and Application platform. At Cisco, Sumit was responsible for driving the overall data centre solutions business in India.
Sumit holds a Master’s in Management from XLRI Jamshedpur in India. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications from Gulbarga University in India.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, GDS
Wiliam founded GDS in 2001 and is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Under his leadership, GDS has grown to be the leading developer and operator of high-performance data centres in China, serving over 400 customers, many of which are leaders with dominant position in their respective industries. William also played a key role in GDS’s successful listing on Nasdaq.
Prior to founding GDS, William held various senior positions including Senior Vice President at Shanghai Meining Computer Software, Vice President at Ego Electronic Commerce, and General Manager at Shanghai Huayang Computer.
Chief Executive Officer, VIRTUS Data Centres
Neil Cresswell is Chief Executive Officer of VIRTUS Data Centres since April 2013. Under his leadership, VIRTUS has grown rapidly from one data centre of 3MW to the third largest UK data centre provider. Neil is instrumental in transforming VIRTUS into one of the most innovative and fastest growing data centre providers, serving customers including leading global organisations in the financial services, technology, media and education sectors.
With over 25 years of experience in the data centre, technology and banking industries, Neil has built successful, high growth, profitable businesses with a reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. Prior to VIRTUS, Neil held roles in the UK, Europe, Asia and the US including BNP Paribas, IBM and Fiserv. He was Managing Director of Savvis’ EMEA region and the global financial services sector.
Neil holds an Honours Degree in Business Studies from University of Westminster and is a graduate of the Henley Business School Advanced Management Programme.
Group General Manager, Singapore and Global Alliances, STT GDC
Christopher (Chris) Street is Group General Manager of ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (STT GDC), where he oversees the company’s data centre portfolio in Singapore, and is responsible for building services and programmes to support customers’ needs across the STT GDC group.
Chris has been in the internet infrastructure industry for over 20 years, and has built and scale businesses in service provider and end-user environments. Prior to STT GDC, he was at Amazon where he was responsible for the acquisition of strategic technical infrastructure such as network and data centre services across the company’s global footprint. Prior to Amazon, Chris held various positions in the Sales, Marketing and Technical Operations functions at companies such as Switch & Data, AT&T, Equinix and CERFnet.
Chris graduated from Baruch College, NYC, with a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor Degree from Indiana University Bloomington, USA.
